A Collection of Quotations from our funny, silly boy.

Before 2

Calling Daddy for dinner. “Daddy…….daddy……..daddy………REN!

Mash chicken. This was his words first thing in the morning, telling me what he wanted for breakfast.

All fishes. Dominic trying to say all finished.

Doing all done with sign language, while saying argh argh argh argh.

Age 2

Mum “one more minute and it’s time for bed, okay”. Dominic “One more mimit, bed, okay, yeah okay”.

Hey mummy, guess what, I read this honk book. (instead of whole book).

Wednesday May 11th, 2005

Dom’s first sentence every morning is now “Doctor, all finished, Mummy”? We must have been taking him to the doctors all the time at this point.

Age 3 to 4 / Preschool

"Mrs. Schools, Jay is being so cheeky".

“That funny, silly boy”.

Kindergarten test.

Can you name some kinds of pets? Saffie, Rooney, Buster, loop the loop cat, mocha, …

What gallops? Miss Jen (APE teacher)

I like your glasses Mum - his words on seeing me in a bra. I like your sunglasses - on seeing me in a black bra.

Age 5

Ma….Ma…Ma (copying his Dad talking to his Lola)

That’s so beautiful. (Dad says no Dom, it’s so cool). No Daddy, it’s so beautiful.

Mum “Are you comfy?” Dom “Cozy”. Are you cozy? Comfy.

What of?

Remember last time?

Yes kitties today. No kitties today. When he came back from a bike ride with his Dad around the neighbourhood - telling me if he saw a cat or not.

Loop the loop cat. Mocha street.

Age 6 to 7.

Mummy, can you settle me down, please? Dominic was always trying to get more time with me at bedtime.

That’s not going to happen. To his Dad, when his Dad said that he was going to stay overnight in the ICU instead of his Mum.

To his nurse who was offering him a surprise of a used syringe … “No thank you. I don’t want anything boring.”

It’s bothersome.

I can handle it.
